A beautiful botanical room

This past February I moved into an incredible space at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Pleasantville, NY. The church itself is a gorgeous stone structure on the National Register of Historic Places. My studio now, is in essence a solarium, perfect for growing plants and supporting a light filled work and activity table. I have my Sensory Arbor set up and work with clients “under the trees” of the arbor. The Reverend of St. John’s has shifted her space so that her former office is now my studio. It shows an incredible commitment from the church in supporting the “mission” of Therapeutic Horticulture. I have space outside for an eventual garden and more. Every time I set foot on the grounds of St. John’s I think about how fortunate I am to have such amazing people around me, and the most beautiful setting to do my work.
